Patch I hope you have a great birthday celebration for your son. Life is more important than debt! Try not to beat yourself up about your debt, if most of us had made better decisions we wouldn't be on this site! Just remember that we AAD's help you are in a position to fight and that you have virtual friends who won't judge you but will give you support!

Enjoy your son's birthday and I would ignore Mercer's for now...they'll probably send you a default letter next.

    Anyhooooo.... enough sissy shit

23rd May letter dated ... oh, it's not dated! Anyway from Mercers saying They would like to discuss the current situation, if I don't call then the account will be closed "and the full balance will become due immediately." *yawn*

I guess I ignore it? Haven't the energy to do anything else anyway.

      Stopped paying in December 2013.

Letter received 28th December 'you haven't paid, we can take from current account if you have one'not 100% sure I 'have' one?

Letter received 25th January 'You bad boy, you still haven't paid so we are passing it over to Mercers, which is still us but with a scary name... perhaps... so pay up or we will write to you again!'

Sent CCA request 27th Jan 2014

CCA signed for by Luke Hawker on the 28th Jan

Letter received 4th February saying they got the CCA request and are dealing with it.

    7th February CCA forms arrived...

10th February Sent CCA forms to Niddy to look at.

11th February Niddy says UE, I need to send missing PT's.

12th Feb missing PT sent via signed for.

25th March letter dated 18th March from Mercers saying despite their efforts to contact him he hasn't paid so they may pass account over to a specialist collections mob who may call at our address.... Same as last months letter.

23rd April letter dated 15th April from Mercers saying despite their efforts to contact him he hasn't paid and now owes 5 payments, if he is a good boy and pays 3 of them they "will credit your account with the remaining 2" nice underlining and bold effect but no thanks..

23rd May letter dated ... oh, it's not dated! Anyway from Mercers saying They would like to discuss the current situation, if I don't call then the account will be closed "and the full balance will become due immediately." *yawn*
I registered and got an email telling me I had to complete the reg before I would be let in. Will see to that next week some time.

I'm now off to call my cousin to see if she is ok after the funeral (I couldn't go as my family are in another country that hubby and I only just came back from ... typically!) and then I need to get this family ready for a birthday get together...

lol .. like I said. Messed up!

Thanks guys... I'm no good at being in debt and I am clearly far too sensitive to how people type / talk.... in real life too. Sorry.

Got another letter today, this time from Mercers regarding hubbys credit card will update the first post and post below this.

I can see why some people just jump off a bridge. I HATE myself for getting credit... I'm such a dick.

Patch...if I remember correctly, all you need to register with the AAD website (to access template letters) is your username, password and possibly the email address you used when you registered for the forum. You will then need to wait for the activation email.

Even though this debt is post 2007 you can still try and blag it. Send the missing PT letter as it will at least buy you some time as NW says. Just let us know what you get back from them.

Patch ,what we (i) tend to do is still send the Missing PT letter even though you have them, it just ties them up for a while, so that we can have another look at what you've got
plus the fact you hold on to a bit more cash till you have to pay up

I understood it meant ALL details and to be honest I probably used bullshyt ones to sign up originally... lol Lots of mandatory fields there too....

Reading that post from Niddy just made me feel silly and whiny and lacking the intelligence to 'comprehend' something so simple. The language in that post was unnecessary really. But I guess that's his style and I am a bit of a precious cow. lmao

Is the form you tried to link me to the Missing Prescribed terms one please? If so I have all the terms here. The signature... the whole lot grrr

Hmm looks like I need to ask a relative if I can borrow 3k!! oh well, my stupid fault for getting into debt lmao.

As for the same information, your username and presumably your email address is what Niddy is referring to. You don't need to remember everything you used to sign up here.

Im not sure whos doing approvals while Niddy is on holiday so cant say if you will get access any time soon or not, perhaps another Mod can let you know the situation.

Like SX says no big deal really......

    As for approvals just ask.....

Man... this ... this is rude not everyone 'gets' the web...

    Guys

I am getting overwhelmed with absolutely stupid requests and it needs to stop now, as it's wasting way too much time that I simply do not have. Everyone that uses our forum or website knows the basics of IT, ie they know that this site is a forum and that you need to go to a totally separate different site to access the templates - right? You do all understand that don't you?

Why then am I still having silly email chats where people are whining that they cannot login when they are messing on the wrong site????? It's really not that hard, this is AADforum, this means you login here to post on the forum. If you want to access templates then YOU MUST BE A USER OF THE FORUM - there are NO exceptions. So when you act silly and call yourself a different name to that of the forum guess what? We block you - your email - the works.

Why is that so difficult to comprehend? Don't try and beat the system, you can't. You MUST register to the main AAD website using the EXACT same details as you have here on the forum - try and alter it and you're locked out. I cannot help you at this point, it's tough luck! Try reading things BEFORE jumping in and we will not have any issues. Similarly why are people resetting their forum details? The forum is nothing to do with AAD website, that is clear in post 1 above!

Really guys, I can't help if you don't help yourself.
Sadly I can't remember the EXACT same details.. so I guess I will be 'locked out'...

Jeebus... thats a LOT of reading... and a LOT of info about me that I have to give to re register with.

I need to think about this.

The site isn't working right at the moment and I am not 100% sure it's not vulnerable to 'others'.... I am paranoid. Sorry.
