      21/05/21. Cabot letter re Cca request - unable to get cr agreement at present and state it’s unenforceable until they do.

                      Relax Shineon, you're in safe hands here.

                      You should preferably put the original lender (eg credit card company name) at the very top of each segment, although I believe it's useful to mention the current owner at the bottom of the header. Also the originating date (or at least the year) is very important, although not absolutely essential at this stage. This gives a more instant handle into the situation with each one. You'll also obviously need to add a summary in date order of what's happened underneath each header, but I'm sure I'm stating the obvious there. If you are having difficulty linking the DCA with the original lender and have lost all the paperwork there will be ways to find out who the original lenders are, most obviously by asking the DMP company.

                      Good luck, you've got an excellent team to help out with this.

                          when I started this journey many many years ago, we, Hubby and I, owed well over £100k, we were spending all our wages paying what we owed and one day a light came on, I had been working for a debt management company (which charged a fee) wasn't going that route. so I wrote to all of the company's and offered a small payment, some were ok some were downright s%@!y and passed it to debt collectors straight away. I contacted a free debt help company and received paperwork from them but managed our own DMP, we were slowly paying things off, one day out of the blue a DCA phoned, when I said they were to contact me in writing they went off at the deepend.
                          screaming down the phone at me,
                          Telling me I was stupid to get into debt, threatening to put all the family out on the street, when she stopped for breath I thanked her for her call and asked to speak to her line manager, she hung up,

                          Why am I telling you this,?

                          That was the day I decided to look for help with the hope of never paying that company a penny ever again.
                          I found AAD and a place that doesn't judge, A place that shows there is a light at the end of the tunnel, A place that has people who have been in the place you are now.
                          it is also a place that no matter how daft you think a question is, it will be answered, not always straight away, we are all volunteers and have a life aswell,

                          please look around the site and have a look at some of the Diary's so you can see what others have done , if you read mine you may need to make yourself a drink and a sandwich, it's more like a novel,

                                Ok, thanks for explaing a bit more for me, once I send all CCA requests, will that show who Origanal lender was and dates etc, so then I can amend all the details when I get new info, again because we had or just survived on min money, when I got letters it was not knowing where to turn, so not got much info on dates either, so sorry . Ooh and only working on iPad at moment, is there a way to change my colours like others do. ( sorry if that's a silly one to ask but never needed to change colour before) . Thanks again.
                                ooh and not ever gonna bin any papers now, and get a filing system going for each one also.
