Re: The SaltnVinegar UE Diary
Well this is an interesting development. After hearing nothing for over 4 years all of a sudden I get a NoA from Payday UK that the account has been sold to PRAC Financial.
In the same envelope is a letter of introduction from PRAC Financial, and then a NoA that they have appointed BW Legal Services as their representatives.
In the same envelope is a further letter from BW Legal Services that they are representing PRAC Financial and all communication should be to them.
They've offered a 10% discount, and given me 28 days to pay the balance. Thats nice of them.
I've not come across PRAC Financial before, but BW Legal I have, and I know that they are very trigger happy in issuing bulk court claims. This is a very interesting and concerning development in the payday loan world as it looks like a company known for its aggressive tactics have been bulk buying from the Payday Loan market.
Well I'll be starting this one off by disputing the debt, and see what they send back.

I agree with marypoppins. The last few weeks before SB can be more stressful than the start of the journey as you don't want it all taken from you when you're so close to the finishing line. Just hang on in there SnV and keep them chasing their tails.

Re: The SaltnVinegar UE Diary
Hi All
Not much to report, been a quiet start to the year so far
Only had one letter from Robinson Way asking me to call them and confirm my address. Even on the evidence they have supplied with their own faulty paperwork this only has a few more weeks to go before it is Statute Barred, so I suspect they are either trying to trip me up by getting me to call them and admit liability of the account, or alternatively they're looking to confirm my address as they will be issuing a claim (and good luck to them if they do that as there would be so much wrong with it they're not likely to stand a chance).
Still whichever, its going to be a tense few weeks waiting for this to get over the finishing line.
SnV

Re: The SaltnVinegar UE Diary
Hi Everyone
Well Robinson Way have finally got back to me with a reconstituted credit agreement! Unfortunately for them its the same as the one they sent me back in 2014:
Two credit agreements, one with correct name and address, but only one pager of t&c's, the other with correct name and wrong address, and a bunch of t&c's that don't relate to either agreement.
They have also sent me a bunch of statements that also have correct name but wrong address. Statements show a payment made in Feb 2011, but as it shows the wrong address who knows who that relates to!
Rob Way have given me 30 days to make a payment proposal (as according to them they have fulfilled their obligations). Thats nice of them, I won't respond until day 29 as that way its getting close to SB even on the basis of their own flawed paperwork!
