    Thanks Niddy thats perfik!

As they guy who is calling me is both the registered CEO and holder of the companies CCL I assume its a one man and his dog operation.

Hopefully the letters (plus the fact his client has admitted UE) will throw him right out of his depth.

    Thanks all

I'm going to respond to Apex, not HL, as they still cannot seem to grasp the english language and understand I am not making a s77-79 request but something completely different.

Its entertaining as they are digging a bigger hole by ignoring my request. This will be the last letter I'll be writing to them now other than one liners of 'refer to my previous letter' if they continue to bury their heads in the sand!

    hi guys
reading this just reminded me of the last apex letter I had in November 2012 giving me 7 days to respond. unfortunately it completely slipped my mind .( I had stopped paying the DMP, not cca'd them yet)
It relates to an old HBOS preference account so it would seem they could be up 2 creeks without any paddles

I'm sure your not overly worried by the HL Solicitors letters (Letterheads for hire) but just to add some information to ease your mind.....If it did need easing that is ......

I've had 4 letters from them in the past, Prettymuch the same circumstances as with you

Lloyds Tsb overdraft - Apex on the case - Ignored their rubbish template letters and then HL Solicitors letters with the usual reply to Apex not to us

I ignored them completely and never heard a thing. I never acknowledged Apex at all ( Not that I'm reccomending that you do that but thats what I did) and hav'nt heard from either Lloyds or Apex for over 6 months!

Even now that I have stopped making any token payments

So unless these HL letters are threatening anything specific - I'm sure they will be the normal 75p letters that Tech Clerk referred to.

Keep up the good work - Following with interest

    Hi All

As above, got a letter from HL Solicitors yesterday. Looks like another 'template for sale' letter as it is exactly the same as the previous two they have sent.

I'll still write to Apex telling them they and their client are ignoring what is being requested of them and to address the contents of my previous letters.

I love that letter....Is that what we call a one liner???

Do you think we should ask Niddy to add that to the templates?

I had Apex chasing me for a few months, The same old template letter every time!!

"They have carefully researched and believe that I have the ability to repay this debt" or words to that effect - Not had a letter from them yet that does'nt have that wording

Just ignored them and hav'nt heard a thing for around 5 months

Our latest letter just recieved starts "we are seriously miffed you havnt come to an arrangement on the debt just recently assigned to us."

Trouble is they have had the debt for 4 years. We have been paying now stopped so the letter we got is probably his letter.

And our letter you will probably get lol.

Can never say never with a DCA but this one is barking. Beat the client into submission by making them wonder what reality is the real reality. Is the world mad. Or is it me?

Like I said no wonder Cabot took them over.
Like it - I'd love to receive one of those. My return letter would be:

    Dear Apex

Thanks you for your envelope dated xx/xx/xxxx. In response to your envelope I'd like to make the points below:

    Kind Regards

A totally bizarre DCA. Some of the codswhallop coming out of Stratford beggers belief.

I read where one poor guy just got an envelope. Nothing in it. Bizarre behaviour.

And that was all he got in a year. One envelope no correspondence. Thats really gonna make you cack yourself.

No wonder they got taken over by Cabot but suspect some of the less clever monkeys were kept on.
    Hi Ken

Sorry just seen your post! So this guy just got an envelope? You mean an envelope with nothing in it or an envelope in the envelope?!!

Thats definately wierd! I look forward to getting that template letter!

    Thank SH.

I'm looking forward to their response. I can't imagine they can be worse then Wescot (who have backed down on every single account they have had with me, or sent it back to their 'client'!).
