  • Changing a template

    Hi,
I'm about to send off the "Account Sold whilst in Dispute" template to a DCA who has purchased an account from the OC.

In the 2nd paragraph of the letter it states "failed to acknowledge...". I'd like to amend it to "failed to accommodate..." I'm aware that it's unwise to amend template letters, but it's just one word and I'm sure it doesn't impact upon the context of the letter.

The OC did provide me with reconstituted terms but I'm after the original agreement which I'm 99% sure they no longer have and I'd really like the DCA off my back as quickly as possible.

My question is: Is it OK to amend or is there another more suitable template?
