    HSBC PPI

    This is a question on behalf of a friend.

    I am pretty sure I know the answer, but wanted to check.

    They have been havin PPI applied to their credit card for just over 6 months. Apparently, at this time, HSBC chnaged their T&Cs to the effect that accounts had PPI added to them, and if you wanted it cancelled, you had to ask!

    The above has been confirmed in writing (via email / online response).

    I am assuming this can be claimed back and is a clear case of mis-selling?
