    Cym, ask them to send you a copy of the letter you've been waiting for as well by email.
    Surely they should have resolved this for you way by now x

              Despite being told yesterday to email them between 8am and 6pm today, so they could have a word about them sending the letter by email, I had emailed this morning to ask just as they suggested, and another says something else.

              Was told that a letter was sent out yesterday (That I already knew obviously- which was why I requested they end up sending by email), also sent them a copy of the email I sent and received yesterday about this, and they said it should reach me by tomorrow or Monday, but if not by Tuesday they will send a copy by email!!!

              The point is I have asked for this NOW!!!

              Another stalling tactic!!!

              Gonna have to contact them again I think x

                I have just emailed back about this and said that the decision was late anyway, as it was expected for the mid of this week just gone (with extra weeks given) and the fact of being told yesterday they will ask the team to send me a copy by email today as well!

                  Email from them and was told they passed on my request to the Manager of Customer Excellence to sort it out.

                    Going to take a long time for sure:-

                    They will be looking for Customer Excellence, (splinters in the fingers from scratching their head looking for the meaning).

                          Cym, just posted on your thread now and I am literally disgusted. I am also now too expecting the same outcome, but the point here now is they had ample time to deal with it, and they have not followed current FSA rules when investigating the complaint.

                          I would surely raise this up as a new complaint with them (this will be FSA regulated) on the way they dealt with your complaint, they had more than ample the time, and still they made contact by phone, they should have known the decision well before then!!

                          If this happens with mine, they will be expecting another complaint from me about how they dealt with it.

                            I emailed them on Saturday asking what the delay was and why they were sending generic letters out, almost as if this was a determined delaying tactic from them.
                            Naturally this was all worded in a very polite and civil manner!

                            Anyway, I've just had a call from them and went through a list of questions about my circumstances now and when the insurance was added to my account (turns out it's been running since 1998!!!). It was evident that from both the questions and answers I shouldn't have had it at all.

                            So the upshot is that the guy has promised to come to a final decision by the end of the week so I should receive notification early next week about it.

                                After dealing with some further issues with the business, they have now decided to uphold and refund all premiums, relevant interest etc by cheque payment by 21 days!

                                Happy days!
