  • I&E's

I was wondering if for I&E's i had to disclose partners incomes and benefits we get in her name at all.

Things like Tax credits Child benefit.

Seeing as the debts are mine could i not just tell them my income (currently JSA) and that has to go towards Rent Arrears, Utilities food and car which would leave me nothing other than an imaginary £1 a month for them.

Basically if i dont have to disclose that info then why should i

Someone may correct me but, An I and E should only list your debts and your income.

As you say, the debts are yours, so its only your income they are interested in.

That is all I have done in my last I&E , mind you CAB highlight all household, but I would stick to your own as any alledged debt is your not joint.

If you're a couple living together then usually it would encompass all household income....

Technically, ChB et al is paid to the parent so it is extra income, so if you miss it off your I&E then technically you're not being honest are you

Not telling you to be honest mate, but if it is for court then yes, always add the household income but if it's for a creditor then just add yours/
