Yea that's the problem, you're setting a benchmark. As the big ones won't be settled, why the urgency to settle the small debt? Just agree to £10 per month and it'll be gone before the other two anyway!

It's a bum deal, alland recently went for a £2k settlement on a £10k debt, 20% is a good deal. 70% is pointless on a small debt.

Yea, rule 1 in debt consolidation - stop messing with the lender! Stop paying and let them sell it to a dca then haggle down to 20% via the dca. If you try and haggle with the bank they usually refuse, and why not when they already know you're easy to temp into silly acceptance of offers....

See what I'm saying here lol?

You need to forget small debts and consider the bigger ones, that's my point.

For the sake of £700 debt - why worry about it? Save yourself £2k then you'll be in a better position to haggle one of the big debts. Ideally let them bundle all 3 together and a £4-£5k offer would wipe the slate clean!!
