Need to buy a new washing machine
My washing machine needs a couple of new parts amounting to around £130 and its £12 years old so we've decided to invest in a new one.

Raising credit card limit
I have only one credit card with a limit of £500 and no hope of getting another one (don't want one anyway!) or raising my limit on this one due to a bad credit history.
