I had a long-running dispute with Egg over the enforceability of their agreement (made before 2003, wording is defective and the necessary terms and conditions are absent).

Barclaycard bought Egg last year and silly me continued banking with Barclays...

I'm starting this diary off although I'm still very much at the info gathering stage yet having only had access to one of my credit reports so far. Some pleasing news on there though with regards to the date of most of my debts being pre April 07. I think only two were taken out more recently than this...

I had a HSBC joint premier account with a £12K OD and also my wife had premier charge card with about £10K on it, I was being a bit naughty and I was recycling money for one to the other...

I have just been looking back at my credit card statement files and see that this week is exactly one year since I last used a credit card. (not that I could start using one again, and certainly not anytime soon that's for sure ! )
