Thought id let AAD'ers know of a recent first tier tribunal ruling that could potentially help sucessfully appealing against daily penalties for failing to submit a self assessment in time.
It should be said, that a first tier tribunal is not concrete and can be overruled in the future....

I am helping someone contest arrears letter charges on a gym contract. The OC/DC have finally provided a statement of account, of sorts, after repeated requests being made. My son is working in the bar of a hotel chain. He is working 12 and 14 hour days with virtually no breaks because they never have enough staff. He gets money deducted for half hour breaks even though he is not able to take them.
