Thought id let AAD'ers know of a recent first tier tribunal ruling that could potentially help sucessfully appealing against daily penalties for failing to submit a self assessment in time.

It should be said, that a first tier tribunal is not concrete and can be overruled in the future....

I am helping someone contest arrears letter charges on a gym contract. The OC/DC have finally provided a statement of account, of sorts, after repeated requests being made. After researching the subject it seems that they should have been providing statements every 12 months until the debt was cleared....

I complained to Office of Fair Trading regarding Barclaycards terms and conditions.
In particular section 16.3 where they state that "we may use money in your other Barclays accounts to pay us."

Now this is contained in a document that is standard to ALL Barclaycard account...
