  • TOSHIBA LAPTOP C50 -A-1CK Satellite

    Seem to have lost any sound on computer, yet all reports etc state working i.e. troubleshooters ,

    just suddenly stopped?????

    must be getting old these days!

    It's onboard sound so download driver. might be due to a win update?

      went to restore finally and restored to few days ago all o.k. now Thanks!

          looks like conflicting Registry cleaners as one showed as deleted just before problem started, soon as system restore used all fine again, even Norton has now come back and stated faulty info, and re-installed Norton, - sorted.

          Got Rid of one cleaner!

            That may be why your C50 went wonky in a way that mine - so far - has not.

            I scrapped Norton as soon as I could and installed AVG instead, plus I do not bother with registry manglers.

              AVG let me down big time on Desk top computer, so events for all of us can be different in situations! still seems fine now fingers crossed!!!!

                Glad you got it sorted (and got rid of Norton!)
                When Gold isn't enough, there is SA Gold! New to the forum and find the UE route a bit scary? Take a look at my diary here and judge for yourself. I am now saving the money each month that was making little difference to the balance and not a bit of difference to my credit file as a result of finding AAD.
