  • How to do a screen shot and edit?

    Just wondering if I wanted to put something on the net/forum but wanted to edit out personal details how is this done?
    Do you need to download software?
    Say show your online banking page, but edit out personal stuff?

    Also, in very basic instructions

    Windows:

    take a screen shot:

    PRESS = 'PRINT SCREEN' on keyboard/Laptop

    Go to = PAINT in Tools/Accessories

    RIGHT CLICK on mouse = PASTE (OR Ctrl & V - on Keyboard)

    SAVE = as Jpeg.

    EDIT:

    Either print the document score/Delete personal info out and rescan back in...........OR OPEN UP WORD, and insert scanned image and colour the items in........can saveback to Jpeg if you wish?

    Or download a free/trial program from Cnet

            Re: How to do a screen shot and edit?

            Well I tried but it wouldn't work on my laptop Windows 7 IE9 and I tried on my little netbook and no joy.
            Anyway, managed to do it on my laptop using the ''snipping'' tool.
