I don't! I'm having similar problems with Scottish Power making mistake after mistake (though not miss-selling)...saying one thing then doing something else.

I used to be with Scottish Power for a number of years and all was fine - I had an issue with them failing to keep an appointment and left as their customer service was appalling.

I think all energy suppliers are the same to be honest - Any thing out the ordinary and it all falls apart.

You're not alone Pixie. It seems that 1,000 customers per week complain to the Energy Ombudsman about a problem with their utility supplier. That's a lot of unhappy customers.

Well they have come back and upped their offer to £200. Any advice on whether to accept that and run or carry on the fight. Any input would be gratefully received.

          Thanks,

              Re: EDF Mis-Selling Compensation

Final update on this one - I have settled on compensation of £250 which they have paid out already.

Many thanks for all your help and advice.
