I've done that before and it is blummin' painful! A warm bath with a gentle massage might help ease it x

A twang or did it feel more like strings snapping and pinging back?

When Gold isn't enough, there is SA Gold! New to the forum and find the UE route a bit scary? Take a look at my diary here and judge for yourself. I am now saving the money each month that was making little difference to the balance and not a bit of difference to my credit file as a result of finding AAD.

                  Re: can anyone help

went to out of hours and I have a type 2 muscle tear , pain killers ice pack and wearing training shoes as this takes the pressure of the calf, will take up to two weeks to heal.

Feels much better today and the trainers really do help , amazing what works .
I remember when my eldest was 18 months he walked with his toes pointing inwards and the specialist told me to put his shoes on the wrong feet which would correct this and sure enough it did

Glad you're feeling much better today.

My younger sister used to walk "pigeon-toed" (ie toes pointing inward) and my Mum and Dad were told to buy her some clogs! They worked though.

That will correct itself my grandson was born with his foot the same, its perfect now so don't worry about it, I think it happens because of the way the baby lies in the womb . My son said it straightened once they started the massage
