    Hi,
If my partner secured a mortgage in her name, would a solicitor be able to draw up an agreement with regards to any deposit i provided and the fact i would be paying towards it?
Is this something that could be drawn up "remotely" or is it something that they may need to witness and therefore have done locally?
Any idea on the approximate cost so i can budget for it?
    Thanks.

I suppose you could take a second charge on the property once it had been completed or draw up a back to back agreement to cover the deposit.

If it was me I would go to a local solicator for this sort of thing, but I'm sure that other people will have pet solicators to do this. Paul might even be able to help.

      hi there,
      Thanks for your reply.
I did drop Paul a PM but guess he hasn't had chance to reply yet. Rather pay someone recommended than just walk in somewhere.

lol. fair enough. It's not something i need immediately, although would be good to hear that it can be done, so when the time comes i could just send the details over and pay the bill!
