So can you reasonably pay the balance over 3 months? And I mean reasonably as in you won't be leaving yourself seriously short.

If not then we'll be telling them to (politely F.O.)

                Re: Marling pdl diary

                Hi Marling

Ok no problem. So you need to send them something like this:

Dear <Insert name of payday loan company here>

Ref: <Insert account reference number here>

Thank you for your email in relation to the aforementioned account. In regards to your request that I telephone your collections team, please note that any correspondence should be placed in writing to ensure accuracy in recollection of events should they ever be needed.

As you were previously advised in my email of xx/xx/xxxx - I am completely unable to repay any money in regards to the above account, in fact I am not even able to meet essential financial commitments.

I am receiving professional debt advice in regards to my options, and once all those avenues have been explored I will contact you then. Continuously demanding payment is not going to change my situation and as you have been previously advised I will consider any such demands as harassment.

As also previously requested I ask you to consider to freeze all interest on this account as increasing the balance will not serve either parties at this time.

                Regards

                Marling

Remember these two companies are actually one and the same.

They have no right to be asking which debt management company you are using, even less to be asking for their reference number. This is your to give, if, and when, you decide to enter a debt management plan.

I'd be inclined to ignore these emails for now and see what they send next.

If they were that good a mate they'd give you the money for interest free. I would. In fact I have - recently. Lent a mate £500 for 2 months. He paid it back. All is well. I chose to do that to stop him going down the PDL route. It's a deadly spiral once you start.

Clear amigo as agreed and then when we (SnV) helps you get rid of the others - dont apply again. It's not worth it.
