Cheers Garlok - thing is they all take the piss, it's stopping them before it gets serious that's the problem, it won't be long before someone tops themselves as a result of the sustained pressure from these vultures.....

A small point RTB, don't ever give these leeches any information either. Cheeky B*****RS. If they want to go to court and you are a very long way off that yet it would seem. It is they that will have to provide YOU with all the documents THEY will be relying on in court to support THEIR Particulars of Claim so that you may prepare your defence. You request this under the Civil Procedure Rules.

This letter from Moorcroft is deliberately misleading, is in contravention of the OFT debt collection guidelines and may well be unfair under the CPUTR2008.

As usual a total cock-up from the Morecretins.

    regards
    Garlok

They haven't a fecking clue have they? I don't even think a reply is worthy of a second class stamp.
Sounds like a fishing expedition to me. A case of "I'll show you mine if you'll show me yours". Someone with better knowledge of pre-court stuff than me will guide you. Good Luck

Ah yes they are a couple of beads less than a full abacus.

One of the babes swallowed them and hence a visit to the A & E to get their nappies changed.

Which "division" of Moorcroft was it?

If its the "Pre Litigation Division" thats the pre school potty training group located in the basement toilets of Moorcroft Manor.

As I2D says wait to see what comes next and then roll some threat or other back at them and they usually run for the hills and send the account back to the OC.

When it rains the slugs come out. I've just had a phone call from Moorcroft. Co-incidence?

Anyway, it was to do with the Halifax CC below, currently paying on a DMP although the Halifax are only reducing the interest.

They sent me a letter saying to call them with a repayment plan. Then they called the house phone. Usual circular arguements - provide security details / no / why not? / cos I don't know who you are / but we sent you a letter asking you to call / I don't want to speak on the phone, send me a letter / but we already have / so what's the phone call about then / we can't discuss this on the phone unless you clear security / I don't know who you are ......

    An entertaining 5 minutes.

So I'm going to get in quick with a don't visit, call etc, everything in writing letter. I haven't done a CCA request so would this be a good time to do so? This was an account opened in 2005 so I might be in with a chance of getting them to leave me alone.
