I think thats why they are refusing to pay it...
Stella it is then - but I am sure you must already be due a tanker of the stuff from me!
(a donantion is still in order though - there must be costs associated in running this site - which has saved my hide!)

Thanks again - you are a star.

Just a quick update to let you know that I received a letter (cheap photocopied job) from Green & Co telling me that they had been asked to close their file & that I will hear direct (sic) from their 'client'

          Cheers everyone !

Aha I know we're not supposed to compare...BUT... seems the way Green & Co do these things!!
Aren't they cheapskates. Proper paper for the threats, and then the cheapest skankiest stuff when they admit defeat.

                  Update 12-05-2011
Blair Oliver Scott have sent me the usual letter - pay up or else re my Halifax credit card account(UE).
This is the first time they or anyone else has been in touch other than the Halifax...and even they havnt been in touch since last September.
Do I send 'em the 'sold in dispute' template and continue the process as normal or send 'em off the 'Final response (No CCA) & doorstep visit ' template as used recentley on another (BOS) account?
                  (Im thinking the latter?)
                  Thanks.

                  Matty

                          Quick update:
Received another letter from this lot yesterday titled 'what went wrong'..
They go on to say despite their numerous attempts to contact me (They have sent 1 letter) I have not responded and they are now preparing to close their files....but there is still time for me to pay this before my file gets passed on to another DCA who will charges me interest as well.....
I guess I will be ignoring this one as well.

Letter received from BCard - informing me they have 'assigned and transferred' my account to MKDP LLP and that this means that they are now the effective owners of the account.
They go on to say that MKDP have appointed MKRR as their servicing agent - anyone heard of either of these?
I assume MKDP are solicitors due to the LLP behind their name - will google em to see.

Anyway,I guess the process staarts all over again with 'sold in dispute' etc....once they make contact.

                              Will keep you posted.

                              Matty.
                              Barclaycard

MKKR got in touch - so I sent them off the 'sold in dispute ' template.
Response received from BCard saying (as they have before) please find attached a copy of your executed agreement....
All they sent was a copy of the terms and conditions - not even the application form - nor was there a signature in sight.

They go on to say that ' they have provided me with sufficeint information to allow me to understand my position under CPR' & that 'while there is no formal obligation on their part to provide documentation in answer to validation of debt correspondence , we have undertaken steps to provide you with the contractual terms under which your financial obligations arise and a statement of account. This completes our obligations under section 78'.

Not sure who I reply to now - as I wrote to MKKR but BCard responded.

Or do I just wait for MKKR to follow this up?

I am tempted to ignore - as I have a PPI claim in against BCard which is substantially higher than that what they claim I owe them.....

                              COOP

Letter received from Moorcroft - new boys on the scene for this card.
'notice of intended litigation'.....going on to say 'to prevent our recomending to our client that solicitors commence proceedings - pay up now etc'.
This is the first time they have contacted me about this account - last people were Gothia / red castle recoveries who eventually handed the file back.
I assume I follow the same tack as with them....and send em the 'sold in dispute template ' as a starter for 10?
                              Cheers as ever
                              Matty

Barclays - yes, ignore for now as you have a claim against them so it'd fail if it went to court anyway, just keep us updated.
