I have sent them the 'sold in dispute' and 'threat of legal action' templates and their latest response is that they have recomended that their client commences legal proceedings.
I am now going to send off the 'enough is enough ' template and see what that brings.
(FYI - account deemed UE by his Nidship and all they have sent,to date,is copies of terms and conditions allegedly from the time the account was opened - late 90's.)
    Matty
I had the same with Mercers who didn't even acknowledge anything I was sending them over 3 accounts and just kept sending random threat letters.

If I were you and you've got the other letters sent recorded then I wouldn't even waste the price of a stamp on them.

In a word, yes. They just don't give up. Well, they did eventually but now I've just got someone else on the case.

Thanks everyone for your coments - much appreciated.
I had already sent the letter by the time I saw your comment Locke - at least if it ends up in court I can show that I have responded to everything that they have sent to me - for what they may be worth.

Well done - this is now finished! They have confirmed it is UE by way of that letter, it is NOT enforceable - although yea, they can (and will) hassle you - but so what! Basically, if anyone writes about this debt again, you photocopy that letter (so keep it safe - very safe!) and send it with one of these: ---> CCA Query - Letter Previously Confirming No CCA

Moorcroft have now written and informed me that there is a 'clear conflict of opinion between your perception of the consumer credit agreement and the views expressed by their client' and go on to say that 'it is clear that there is an impasse here' and that they have handed the client back to their client.
          Result!

Also had a similar letter from Wescot re my other LTSB account telling me that 'they have received instructions from their client to withdraw the account' and that 'there would be no further contact from Wescot in relation to this matter'

Another result me thinks! (for now at least - lets wait and see who picks up the batton next)

                    Update
Letter received from Tr-it-on in response to the 'enough is enough letter.
They inform me that they have passed the the letter on to their 'client' who will be in touch with me.
We shall wait see what they have to say.....

                                Update 30-3-2011
Letter received from BCard - informing me they have 'assigned and transferred' my account to MKDP LLP and that this means that they are now the effective owners of the account.
They go on to say that MKDP have appointed MKRR as their servicing agent - anyone heard of either of these?
I assume MKDP are solicitors due to the LLP behind their name - will google em to see.

Anyway,I guess the process staarts all over again with 'sold in dispute' etc....once they make contact.

                                Will keep you posted.

                                Matty.
