They've had the 'Threat to commence litigation' template. Wait and see what the further action is?
Strangely, this letter had a first class stamp on it instead of being sent in the usual 'UK Mail' envelope - any significance?
I'll PM you regards this.....

Re: Pixie's UE diary
We have also noted the mailing changes from some of the wet stone dwellers. Perhaps UK Mail have put up their prices or a bank has called in their overdraft

Re: Pixie's UE diary
Letter today from Link (bought GE Money loan debt - enforceable)
It's headed 'Ignoring this letter will not make this debt go away'. They want me to phone them (no chance to discuss what options are available for me to settle this debt. If I don't make an offer to repay they may review the information held on me by the CRAs 'to ascertain how we can best ensure this debt is repaid.'
I can save them the bother: I'm defaulted on loads of debts, I have a ccj (though it doesn't show on my credit report), I'm unemployed, rent my home and have a 10 year old car - ie I don't have anything to repay them with!
Guess what? I'm going to ignore the letter and file it away.
Unless you recommend a different course of action?Last edited by Pixie; 12 September 2011, 10:56.

Respond with 'Threat-O-Gram - letter before action' template as for Cap One?

I haven't replied to the letter from Bryan Carter Solicitors but they are prepared to offer me one final opportunity to pay before recommending that Capital One instruct solicitors to issue a claim. "At this late stage and as a gesture of goodwill we are prepared to accept a full and final settlement provided you contact us within 48 hours of receipt of this letter."
Do you think they'll accept £40 as F&F?Threat by Creditor - To Commence Litigation
