Update on the CrappyOne account... .

Just had a letter from Scotcall threatening doorstep collection. I have not heard from them before so am combining Account Sold with Threat of Doorstep Collection and they can stick that in their pipe and smoke it...

Update on the CrappyOne account... (which has been sold to Hillesdens).

Update on Natwest (UE). It's done the rounds and is currenlty with Moorcroft. I've just had a letter from Midas Credit Services (which is essentially Moorcroft trying to be scarier) headed Litigation Warning. It uses the word may so I hope it's empty threats.

Presumably I send Threat of Litigation...

Morning all.
And back to MBNA. This MDB lot who are acting for Hillesdens (who bought the debt) are a right pain in the you-know-where.

Just had another letter from them, this time offering me 50% discount only available for 7 days... if I don't respond they may refer me to a doorstep specialist.

They had the doorstep threat letter last month so I presume I just ignore and save myself the recorded delivery charge..?

Or send it again but not recorded, at least they have a second chance to read it and a different person may realise it means something instead of just filing it

Or you could do do a one liner referring them to your previous letter, its worked well for me and you're not ignoring them.

Yep agreed, send a duplicate in normal post and retain a copy so you can prove you've warned them twice....
