Golly couldn't find my diary - I was half way down page 3

Letter from those lovely people at Moorcroft. Ref NatWest (UE) - they are offering me a nice low repayment of £120 a month.. how kind of them. Usual threats they may take legal action etc if I don't.

Obviously a standard letter as they say they haven't heard from me so they presume I can't afford a high repayment. Which is bollocks as they have had my Account Sold letter.

I presume I just ignore? - or should I send Threat of Litigation?

            Hi,

I got similar letter on my Barclaycard Mastercard acc here: allaboutFORUMS - View Single Post - October Revolution's UE Diary

Although I had previously received a letter from Moorcroft stating that B/card could not locate a CCA.

DLC/Hillesden Securities (bought my MBNA debt) - yesterday received an annual statement (how kind of them).

Today "Notice of Sums in Arrears" - they note I'm behind on my payments (gosh aren't they observant). I've been right round the houses with this lot so I presume i just file and ignore.

Moorcroft latest: letter saying they write in response... blah blah.... they have been in contact with NatWest Card services who advise that in order to make a CCA request you must contact them directly... blah blah you will need to enclose a covering letter and £1 ... blah blah.

I really don't know how to respond to this other than to write and point out that I already sent my £1 to NatWest over a year ago with my CCA request and they have never complied. (I received dodgy Ts and Cs with inaccuracies, so responded with “Ts and Cs supplied” and since then it’s been a to and fro with various DCAs).

Moorcroft have obviously not read anything properly that I have sent them so I have no confidence that they will read anything I send in response. However they have put the account on hold for 2 weeks.

I like to write, then I state "further to my letters dated X, Y, Z and whatever respectively all of which you have ignored..."

creates a sort of paper trail of all the efforts made to get resolution. Simply ignoring is understandable and the best use of energy and resources, sure, but I like to be able to evidence my efforts at communication with DCAs and creditors. Might come in handy later on, for example when complaining about them to TS, FOS etc.

usually when they ignore MY letters I fire off a formal complaint to their consumer credit licence managers, which gridlocks their debt colelction activities for a while anyway.

                                Just my views FWIW.
