Well who would've believed it. Letter from CrapQuest today stating they've removed my number from their files and they'll correspond in writing only. Result! Thanks Niddy for a fab letter.

Now if you coudl get them to write saying they've completely written off the debt... ?!!

          Evening!
I thought I'd not heard the last with NatWest. It has done the rounds, been with just about everyone. I think the last lot were RMA but I've lost count!

Now have had a letter from Moorcroft threatening all sorts and if agreement is nto reached by 2nd June (letter was dated 25th May but not received here until at least after the bank holiday - I've been away so can't be sure when) so they didn't give much notice! Bollocks to them anyway, I'm sending the Account sold letter

This is Moorcroft's first letter to me for NatWest, they go on about sending a notice of intended litigation, it's full of maybes and may etc but I wonder since they are mentioning litigation whether to send the threat of litiation letter instead? Will hold fire for the moment...

Nah, not at this stage - start at the beginning with sold in dispute

Eek was lurking at the bottom of page 2...

Strange letter from Crapquest today. My new account manager introducing himself. How lovely and thoughtful. It starts "It is apparent that we need to start the litigation process to resolve this matter."... and then introduces him as the "case handling supervisor".

CrapOne only ever provided a recon agreement (which is clearly a recon, incorrect address etc) and a signed application form.

They are prepared to offer me a 50% discount to settle. Mmm let me think. No I haven't got £5k spare, I'll check under my bed and at the back of the sock drawer but no, none there either. So that's a no.

Apparently they will pass this to Solicitors on or around 17 June.

I guess I just sent the Threat of Litigation as they've already had Account Sold ...

The fact that they're offering in excess of 50% discount leads me to hope that they aren't serious about litigation. But you never know so I'm keeping everything crossed. Meanwhile, letter ready to go tomorrow....

Ah letter from Moorcroft received this morning re NatWest headed "important information - possible litigation". Load of woolly threat stuff that I've had from them before re other accounts.

It has crossed with my Account Sold so presumably wait a couple of days and send Threat of Litigation?

Oh well I expect they will continue making their threats come July...
