Just an update for my own purposes - no response required

      Letter received from Arrow Global.

"Bonjour Madame Diddly, notre petite chou-fleur.

Merci buckets for your letter of the 14th July, forwarded to us as assignees of the above account, and acknowledge your request for documentation persuant to the C.C.A. 1974.

We do not accept that we are the creditor as envisaged by the above statute. However, we are willing to assist in obtaining that which has been requested. We will now process your request for documentation from the creditor and will revert in due course.

We confirm that all collection activity will be suspended pending provision of the documents.

Much love, squeezes, hugs and inappropriate fondles, Arrow Global"

      Duly filed

eh? If they are the bloody assignees then they are categorically classed as the actual lender/creditor whatever word you wish to use! s.189 (CCA1974) stipulates this: ie that they are required to supply the documents whether they are the creditor or not.

That is what me thought Nids, hence me bothering to add the content of the letter rather than just file it. Don't think they really get it, do you!

Re MBNA credit card allaboutFORUMS - View Single Post - diddlydee's UE diary

Received letter from Rossendales, enclosing 10 pages of my "credit agreement", as follows:

Page 1 - screen print of online app
                Pages 2-5 - t&cs
Pages 6-7 - statement of account
Page 8 - information table ie. charges etc
Page 9-10 - scanned sig form front and back

                Their letter states:

Here you go, strain ya eyes on this little lot! If it's not a true copy of the agreement, send us some photo id.

Do I need to respond to this please??? I seem to remember Niddy saying he would do a special MBNA template for these online apps (?) but haven't seen it as yet......

                Thanks for reading

                  Letter received from Apex.

                  1) we know where you live (déjà vu! - see 4th March)
                  2) clients attempts to contact you have been unsuccessful (erm, a file full of letters says they weren't!)
                  3) this is potentially your last opportunity to cough up
                  4) to prevent this matter becoming unmanageable (twats, in my opinion not of the forums!) call our "trained" staff

Is there anything worth sending back to them, please, lovely people of superior knowledge

MBNA - Normal style junk with no real link to original terms, thus I'd be looking to send this back: CCA Query - Missing Prescribed Terms

Also pay attention, and read, the following recent Case: CABOT UK LTD v BACHELLIER [2010]
