Nice set of shiny new buttons Niddy.
Should make it clear and easier for everyone to send their documents to you. :-)

That was my plan lol. It made it worse that the live account was playing up all the time so a lot was getting wiped......

Should be sorted now though, using the new guide

            Dearest Diary.

            Re: Barclaycard

The lovely people from APEX are now the new agency dealing with my account. Oh aren't I lucky! Apparently, they know where I live and are giving me a final opportunity to contact them to discuss repayments.

Now not wishing to be blasé, but in all the letters I have written to Barclaycard (and their associates), not once have I denied where I live. In fact, I put it at the bottom of every single letter! I'd call them a bunch of ********** *****, but that is far too rude, so instead, I'll call them muppets.

I shall duly provide this delightful new agency with a copy of the "New - Account sold in default of CCA request", found here CLICKY in the hope that they get the message and leave little diddles alone.

            Thanks for listening, as always.

                  Update: MBNA credit card

Received letter with scary red lettering from Rossendales Collect. Seem like a lovely bunch. Want me to contact them within seven days (letter dated 15th March, received 25th March!) or else they will commence recovery action.

Duly sending them the new style "sold in default of CCA" template.

Thought MBNA had been a bit too quiet!

                          Re: diddlydee's UE diary

Just a quick update, as my diary is looking a little neglected!

I'd sent the "telephone harrassment" letter to HSBC (re: personal loan), not anticipating a reply. The letter was sent to Central Debt Recovery Unit, who were ringing me every hour, on the hour, every day, bless their little cotton socks for their persistence.......

(Isn't it strange how no bugger in finance ever returns your calls when they promise to, but call you a squillion times a day when it suits them)

Anyway, back to the point; I've today received a letter from Metropolitan (same company, different trading style), who state:

"Please accept my apologies for you having to write with your concerns"....blah blah blah, "I have removed your telephone number from our records"..... "all communications in writing hereon".....!!!

Result - the phone line is mine again..... strange thing is, it never bloody rings now! Be careful what you wish for ............... ha ha!

                          Anyone fancy a chat

Re: Barclaycard (terms and conditions received only)

Good afternoon dear diary, Niddy and anyone else looking in.

I have today received a letter from Apex in response to my "Sold in Default" letter.

                              Quote:

"I can confirm that we have referred your account to our clients. We have been informed that they actioned your copy of agreement rquest on the xx/xx/xxxx. If your concerns have not been resolved, please write to our clients to enable them to investigate."

So, in essence, they are saying either cough up, or contact Barclaycard to resolve the problem.

How best to proceed, dearest Niddy!

                              Your input is greatly appreciated.
