        Re: HSBC credit card

Letter received from Direct Legal & Collections to say that HSBC have responded to my request under the CCA 1974 on the xx/xx/2011 (no they haven't!).
They go on to say that due to the age of the agreement, they can't find it however, this does not stop me owing the money, although it does stop them enforcing it.

Their final line says that demanding of payment is not enforcement, so collection activity will continue.

I really wanna write back and say "payment is not considered necessary, so ignoring you will continue".

        Result! Letter kept safe

        Cheers Niddles

Awesome news - therefore anyone hassles you and send a copy of that letter with one of these and they should then leave you alone: ---> CCA Query - Letter Previously Confirming No CCA

Letter received, dated 17th June from DLC (Direct Legal & Collections).
"Please telephone us today to discuss your account and the options available to you. Failure to respond to this letter may result in further action."

As they have themselves confirmed that the account is UE as they have no CCA, these must be the options which they speak of:

                  a) ignore them
                  b) write to them to tell them I will ignore them
                  c) phone them to tell them I will ignore them
                  d) invite them to come visit me for a nice cup of tea and a slice of cake

                  Think I'll plump for a)

PS. oi, DLC, my dad is harder than your dad

                        MNBA credit card

Hello Niddy, good afternoon to you!

I have uploaded within the secure section, the paperwork provided to me by Rossendales on behalf of MBNA, which they claim is a copy of the original credit agreement together with T&C's.

I would be grateful if you could give me your advice on whether this changes anything, and how to respond, please

                        Thanks you kindly, sir!

Lovely bright red letter from Lewis Debt Recovery, a shiny new DCA who wants to play
They want me to cough up or they'll consider further action.

Duly sent Unenforceability Templates - Section 2 together with a copy of the letter received confirming no CCA on file.
