Looks like these clowns are going for it?

I think we need to be responding, something along the lines of "Read my previous letter again, and continue to read it until you understand it. This account is formally in dispute which means requesting an agreement again will achieve nothing because I dispute the actual accuracy of the agreement and its content. If you continue to pursue this lost cause not only will I consider a counterclaim against you, I will defend any action as unlawful and vexatious. I formally demand you return this whole account back to the debt collection agency whom passed it to you".

That ought to about cover it!
    hi n-i-d
i think your letter has worked yay!! as halifax debt has now been passed to wescot
quick recap halifax credit card blagging as t and c not 100% linked
letter says... notice of debt collection
westcot credit services are specialist debt collection organisation. we have been instructed by our client to collect the above outstanding debt on their behalf.
please pay in full now or contact us on .....
thanks n-i-d another triumph in the carol01 corner

Ok, well make sure you reclaim that £25 as well and ensure that this doesn't happen again!

Bloody hell, that's a nightmare lol - well at least it's now defaulted which usually isn't something to laugh at but in this case, it is! How long

Is this enforceable? Why are you making an offer to repay? Please remind me...

finally after 8 months of waitng for natwest to default my bank account they have, and have passed it on to eversheilds solicitors ,which means hopefully the interest will stop now.
is there a letter i can send proposing a payment plan to start paying off this account, the balance is 3945.49 what would you think they would except as payment i could pay 60.00 per month it would then be paid back in 5.5 years ready for when the default drops off thanks n-i-d in advance

    Carol,

You seem to have things under control again now - if you need anything, just update this. The info above, in my absence is fine and I agree with it all - you ought to calm down and not ring - just send the Niddy Special as detailed above and amend the work element to family member....

Best of luck, keep us posted.....

I agree with Elsie and Swanny, no point in giving yourself stress by phoning them, and they seem to find it really easy to just ignore a phonecall. I think you need to complain and send them the letter.
Tell your Mum not to entertain them on the phone too.
    Bampots, all of them.

    Hi Carol,

I still wouldn't telephone them at all. Send them the Telephone Harrassment letter, and if they phone again tell your mum not to speak to them, other than to say take her number of your file and just put the phone down.

I don't know what other suggestions anyone else may have. Perhaps others would like to add something here guys?.

    thanks elsie
will get this letter sent out do you think i should phone them to make sure they take my mums number off their system as my mum has enough on her plate with my dad being ill and i really don't want them phoning their house again , knowing in the past reading through diaries of dca's not taking any notice and continuing to phone people at work even if i give them my home number (which they have ) and then fail security when they phone just to make sure this doesn't happen again
i know this goes against every thing niddy says but i feel i have i have had the control taken away from me by them involving other members of my family and need to take control again thanks inadavnce
