hi all
i am being picked on by lowell and bryan carter sol ref to a very catalogue and i have till the 9/12 to respond if not then they are going to take legal action
i last sent a cca request in 2011 to very to which i got a reconstituted agreement back this account is enforceable as it was taken out in 2008 but have been blagging it should i send a new request to lowell ?
any advice would be great thanks carol01

sent off new cca request to lowell which i hope is the right on as letter from bryan carter states fredrickson international/lowell also a postal order attached

need to be careful with these, they were rapped over the knuckles for threatening bankruptcy and now they are making people bankrupt for debts, so be very careful.

I think Paul is referring to these OFT sanctions which said that 1st Credit must "refrain from issuing statutory demands warning of bankruptcy where it is unlikely that proceedings will be initiated".

I'm sure the OFT's intention was to stop them issuing so many SDs as a bully tactic to debtors, but this may have backfired spectacularly because 1st Credit have decided that they will in fact go ahead and initiate BR

But you should avoid this if you send a s.78 request right away
