  • Linking Threads

    Hi

Could anyone tell me how to link threads please? This in the context of my UE Diary so as all the different parts of the diary appear one after the other.

    Thanks. Zeppelin.

    Re: Linking Threads

Is it your UE diary you want to put on here to link it?

If it is, you just copy and paste the title of your thread.

Thanks MP. Not sure what I've done wrong but in trying to paste the thread title I've just created another separate post!!

        Re: Linking Threads

It's easy. To copy the thread just open it in your browser then copy the text in the address bar (ie the www.) and then go to your post, right click and paste. Notice the www above went blue as it thinks it's a link!

That'll paste a link into your post.

To copy the text within a post, click the quote button (bottom right) of the post you want to copy and then where you see the quoted text in the quick reply box (it'll start like [QUOTE...) - copy all the text from there and then paste it into a new post where you want to quote the text.

For the record I've merged both your diaries into one.
