    Hi,

Received. Someone should be in touch tomorrow and, if you go with us, I'll pick this up next week. Plenty of time to reply to this claim.

Mar ‘22 - letter to say Dryd£n Ffax now looking after account
April 22 - First contact from DF. Letter of Claim received. SAR sent.
May '22 - Statment of account
Jun '22 - Letter from DF stating CC Claim has been issued. Awaiting claim form from court.
So today I have got the dreaded county court claim letter, although not from the CCC but from the Solicitors working on behalf of NWest (Dryd3n Fairf4x). I suspect the official Court Claim form will be imminent. It's been combined with the overdraft debt (also still owned by bank). They've added some hefty fees to the balance too, which is nice...

As I say, this debt hasn't been sold, so dealing with the bank is making me more concerned than about other ongoing claims. I can't seem to find other members that have been in this situation, although I'm sure there are. Any advice would be gratefully received.

Colin G Quinn Not sure whether it's worth contacting JCS until I get the papers from the court?!

The most recent letter is not a letter of Claim. It is a letter to advise a Claim has been issued.

Have you received the court papers yet? Their letter does not say when it was issued. Although the letter is dated 3 days ago so I assume it was issued then.

Do you want to give me a call tomorrow? Any time after midday would be good for me.

Nothing to panic about or which we can't resolve.

Just to add that the most recent letter breaches the FCA's consumer credit sourcebook (guidance and rules to 'creditors') and that the alleged 'statements' attached to the actual letter of claim are not statements at all. That alone brings unenforceability in.

If you have the original agreement send it to me before we speak.

Hi all. Haven't updated for a while, but no real news to speak of since the 3 separate letters of claim. All being handled by JCS, but no definitive outcomes on any yet.

One thing I have changed is that I have blocked the numbers of DCA's from my phone and that has made a huge difference! I go days without thinking about it, which seems to help when I have to actually deal with a letter!

If you haven't already, do it!

                    Feb '21 - As above
May '22 - Account on hold for 30 days due to DSAR request for other PRA account
May ‘22 - Email to say account is no longer on hold and they look forward to finding a resolution. Next day, another email saying “further to our conversation” (never spoken to them, ever) that the account is being put on hold for 14 days…. Bizarre
                    Jul '22 - 10% discount available... ignored
Aug '22 - Same letter... 10% discount available. Hoping for 100%, thanks.
                    Sep ‘22 - 20% discount… filed
                    October’22 - 20% discount… filed

November ‘22- Account passed to litigation team. If we don’t hear from you by December … .
Fun email received today from PRA. Assuming this is a case of ignore and wait for the next threatogram?

Surprised they’ve taken so long to do this as the other account they own they moved pretty swiftly (not yet resolved, but hopefully have some news soonish).
