    Thanks SH.

Its frustrating I lost all my correspondence before Feb 2012 as I had gone to all the effort of scanning it and saving it on my laptop.

Stupidly I hadn't got round to backing it up when it was stolen.

I have to go to the PO today anyway to get a letter off to Muck Hall so can do this at the same time.

    Thanks again

    Hi All

Ok looks like Capquest have decided to get heavy. See letter received today from them.

CCA request was sent ages ago to SD, with no response received, but can't remember when as all my records were lost when my laptop was stolen last year.

So question is what to do next - issue another CCA request? Make a F&F proposal?

    Cheers

Letter from First Source Solutions - account on hold and telephone numbers removed from my account.

They do though go on to say that no more calls will be made to me while the dispute is being investigated, which implies that they will call me once the investigation is completed.

No doubt I will have some nonsense response from Halifax stating that although UE they can still carry out collection activity - it neuters them quite a bit though doesn't it

    Above is not a typo!

Received another copy of CCA from Muck Hall exactly the same as the one they sent only a couple of days ago.

I don't know why they think sending the same thing twice is going to help - its still missing prescribed terms!

Hmmm seems my letter hasn't sunk in yet as called at work again today by these muppets. Refused to answer security questions so they didn't get anywhere. Had no written correspondence from them at all other than the 'introduction' letter included in a letter sent by Halifax in February so they can write to me if they want to discuss anything.

These guys have picked up where Capquest left off. Trouble is for them the number they have is main reception so all calls are recorded, so if they try to deny calling me at work (which Capquest stupidly did), I have proof to the contrary

I actually use calling me at work as leverage over DCA's for unreasonable behaviour. Capquest are the only DCA who have somehow managed to get hold of my work number as I changed employers a few years ago and have no debts since.

I think Capquest must have traced me via my previous employer, or have even taken a punt by looking at my LinkedIn page. Either way I have refused to answer security questions so its no bother

As above really. Got back from the post office today after sending latest bunch of letters and waiting for me at home was a letter from Muck Hall.

Single page CCA with no prescribed terms - same as Wescot sent in December last year.

Mucky Hall will be getting the missing prescribed terms template same as Wescot did. Will be interesting to see if they have more perseverance than Wescot or whether they'll hand the account back same as Wescots did.

Well letter got sent off today to First Source with another double whammy with harassment at work template and final response template.

They're a bit screwed as I have a letter from Halifax stating they cannot find a copy of the original so until that situation is resolved they're not going to get anywhere.

Well the double whammy to Muck Hall has worked. Account is on hold and if they do not get a response from Black Horse in 40 days they will close the account.

    Day 1..............
