Quick update on this - received letter from Littlewoods in response to the SWID letter to Freds. Basically saying that they consider their charges fair and that they will not offer any refund of charges.

Well considering they inflated the balance of the account by almost £300 in charges before selling the account to Lowells I think I will dispute that one.

Account has been on hold with Freds since July so I will wait until I get the next letter from them before considering my next response.

I'm not sure if theres anything I can do about this as its just a way of creditors screwing you over...........

My credit report is now looking 'hunky dory' in that I have lots of defaults registered over the last couple of years. Only fly in the ointment is that I have got two creditors who seem to be playing the game and have not defaulted me to the CRA's (despite having had a DN from one of them).

So you know they are going to register a default with the CRA's at 5 years 11 months screwing me over for another 2-3 years at least.

I'm not overly bothered, but as I'd like to remortgage at some point in the next 3-4 years this is likely to make it difficult so I'm just having a rant. Just another example of creditors abusing the system to their advantage and not in the way it was intended.

Does that "Jill Senior" also clean the toilets and make the tea? That name seems to pop up everywhere and anywhere to do with the Leeds Losers.

My favorite letter to send out to a new DCA.

Always gets the juices flowing imagining the look on the face of the drone that opens the letter to find out they have bought a pup.

You have obviously read that my favourite name for this irregular guerilla (gorilla?) offshoot of the 7th Cavalry is "The Lowlifes of Leeds" Mind my NoAs all came originally from a Bristol address (not on letters) but the postmarks were Bristol.

Yeah they really shouldn't even be mentioning insolvency for any debt lower than £750. I know theres caveats in there, but its a breach of OFT guidelines plus their own CSA member guidelines on how letters should be written. Stupid fools! Digging a hole for themselves with this one!
