    Re: Starting out

    Sosad
I am not sure about your finances, non of my business.
What i would say is that I know some people who have been isued a SD for an enforceable debt and written back saying thank you very much that will save me a lot of money , and heard nothing more. I wish someone would send me a SD, would be so much easier.

I am not saying that you would want to go down that route, just saying that there is a lot of bluff out there, but if they do try it get Niddy or someone to check it over.
Try not to stress until you have something to stress about

I know I am talking to the converted but I haven't found a bunch of people I trust more than I have here

Don't be in too much of a hurry to do that. There are posters on this site who have been blagging enforceable accounts for years. Make offers if, and only if, it becomes necessary.

Boring, Orrible and Stupid aren't the most frightening rabble out there, so just be patient for now.

What has kept me sane (ish) is having people on here who can and will help and although I know some of them have wanted to pick me up and shake me (non of them are strong enough to pick me up) they have helped all the same.

I agree with you all I do feel as if I'm among friends and can ask questions I have never used any forum as much as this one ,I only wish I had followed Niddy sooner I've wasted a good two years paying and getting nowhere ,never mind you live and learn .

S H I'll get round to reading your "crapbot farcical"thread

Just received a letter from Blair, Oliver&Scot regarding my bank of Scotland card ( enforceable) stating my my debt is being prepared for further action if I don't contact. them within five days. Threats are door to door collectors and court action taken to seek a judgement against me etc what would be the best thing to do threat-o-gram letter or just ignore ?

    Thanks again xxx

That post sums up the entire ethos of this site.

When you post on here, you feel as though you are posting among friends. I can't believe it took me so long to find this place, when you think how long I have been posting on consumer forums. I only joined in early April!

This site has also got the best infrastructure of any consumer site I've ever seen, with the legal content secured behind a protected area. The potential to make a genuine difference in peoples' lives is virtually unlimited.

I hope I'll be able to hang around here long after my alleged debt problems are behind me.

As Flowerpower says, have a look at some of the diaries and you'll soon see how soon the panic passes. You can have a look at mine but that doesn't start from the beginning as it was transferred from the other site. A good one might be New and confused - allaboutFORUMS

It's not about being brave but having the support to stand up to the bullies and see their mind games for what they are.

Yes you're right Scabhunter it was a stupid question ,but I do think you have a sense of humour.

Flowerpower, as I said stupid question I know it depends on the person and probably how determined they are to see the ue route through ,which I am. I do read the other diaries and as you say they do help and reassure ,what is more reassuring is knowing I can come here and ask questions.xx
