  • A very quick question re £1 postal order.....

    ________________

It seems to be recommended that the £1 statutory fee (re UE) be paid by Postal Order.

    But why is this?

Can I not send a cheque instead?

I have been sending cheques (for monthly paying-in) to the DCA (called "Wescot") for years, so they already have my account details & signature from previous cheques.

You can but they copy signatures and paste to an agreement. Best to send a PO or sign the cheque differently to normal.

OK, well, they already know my signature.

I think I will send a cheque, but sign it slightly differently from usual, then make a scan of it (before posting) to keep on my computer.

Anyhow, thanks again for your help/advice.
