    Statute barred-moving country

    Hello

    If I have a debt in England, don't pay it for a year, then move to Scotland, how long until Statute Barred?

    Is it 5 years from non payment or acknowledgement in writing? I know its 6 in England, just not sure what happens if you move!

    its based on domicile at time of inception so as it was opened in England, it's 6 years no matter where you move
