charging order applied and granted while account was in dispute

I have been going through all the documents and found that my hsuband send a CCA request to eversheds 23/4/2008 along with a£1 and i found the proof of postage too.

Should this charge have even been granted while a CCA was requested and never aknowledged by eversheds ?

Just looking at the letters i wonder if the ccj/charge was applied for in Januarey 2008 before we sent off for the CCA .

I think i know what happened here, we sent the CCA off to eversheds but we stupidly wrote the wrong account number and they wrote to us saying they didn't have an account in that number , this is when they went for the charge , we were both new to all this back then and just never corrected it, i could kick myself sometimes for some of the mistakes we have let happen.
