This is as much information i have, going off my direct debits and letter from collection compaines. as you can see from the orginal list there are a few which i was paying DD have stopped collecting. This is stange as ive not canceled the DD.

I will call up tomorrow and fill the gaps.

Let me know the next stage ive bought a few £1 postal order will get more if need.

Here goes. i dont ahve all the details so some ringing around tomorrow to get balances and who the debt belongs to (sorry its been that long and a distant memory) i just pay them like a good boy, which has now stopped cancelled all the direct debits.

Ok the process now is simple.

1. Stop all payments, don't call anyone - no need - Just get the CCA's sent off, we'll fill the blanks when they respond to that.
2. Send a CCA for all credit cards and loans - here ---> http://www.all-about-debt.co.uk/temp...lity/s1-t1.php
3. Send this version of CCA (part 1) for bank account overdrafts ---> http://forums.all-about-debt.co.uk/s...ead.php?t=4904
4. Send everything using Recorded Delivery and send it to the last owner, ie those that last made contact with you.
5. Update us as and when you get replies

going for an interview shortly will get back around 4pm to get all the letter sorted to get to the post office before 5:30pm and posted off.

Just a handy tip from a twit who didn't. Keep a note of which P.O. you send to which company. Then if they say they haven't had it you have the power. Good luck on the interview .

Just got home interview went well.

he is going to have a word with area manager when hes back of holiday next week.

Right i think im going to struggle with time therefore i will get the letter done tonight and post them tomorrow.

little update:

sent the following letters

Lewis Group (barclays overdraft) i used the other like as its not a direct cca

2X Moorcroft (seperate letters and Postal orders)
Wescot
Capquest

Fredrickson has two account one was an old mobile phone contract which only as around £10 to be paid so ive cleared that.

The other is for my capital one account althought i pay Fredrickson the account is through Bryan Carter ive rang them up got my reference number so will be sending them the letter.

Im sure they are others but lets get these going for now.

Sorry just another thought which you may have already answered.
Have all the above debts been defaulted?
If they have , do you still have the default notices/notices of termination?
If they haven't and they do send one, make sure you keep it AND the envelope it came in.

Although this isn't strictly UE stuff it may just come in handy at a later date
