So what I did was go through all the SAR docs requested from the lender Endeavour/HFC some time ago, and found the Click Finance application form.

The application just shows both mine and hubby's details, address and old address, date of birth, amount of loan required, which was £21K over 240 months, no ppi ticked for.

Anyway, the loan agreement - Endeavour/HFC which we received to sign after the loan was paid out after going through the security questions and if we required more funds in the future, this was made by HFC before the loan was paid out.

The agreement is that of over 300 months, loan £21K and ppi of just under £3K.

How we missed this earlier goodness knows, but it seems like we went through the loan with Click the broker, the details were passed on to Endeavour the lender, who then arranged the loan and went through HFC.
With the loan agreement not being received before the loan was paid out, which they asked us in a hurry to send back after signing, I remember that very well.

It's amazing what these lenders will do Di to avoid paying out, shame on them!

      Re: Hamilton

      I agree Cappo.

Well today received an email from the adjudicator, who confirms he have heard from HFC who will be getting back to him in regards of our issues.

      Dear

Thank you for your previous emails.

I have been contacted by HFC this afternoon. They have informed me that they have received all of your recent letters and emails. They have stated that they are looking into your concerns and are progressing the case as quickly as possible. However any response HFC issue will come to me and not be sent directly to you in response to your letters and emails.

If you have anything further to add in terms of evidence to HFC then please send it to me rather than to HFC Direct.

      Yours sincerely

          LOL

I think I know what happened here, I wrote to HFC and as we wanted some questions answered on their involvement of the loan, i did enclose a piece of paperwork of their's to prove their involvement, so of course they must have let the adjudicator know, yet we have been sending him all the details, just wish he would take note and read them lol.

              Cheers Cappo.

I just hope after all these years, there will be a break-through on this.

I must admit though - not saying it will change the decision, but its the first time HFC have accepted to look into it, as I did try this direction with them over 3 years ago, and they then kept passing it back to Click.
I would like to see concrete evidence myself if they try to deny any part in this one.

Shall keep you posted and thank you for your continued support x

Yes Di as i've now posted on mse theres certainly something funny going on with these adjudicators certainly,i'm certainly starting to question there neutrality,i don't think a ppi policy could have been more misold than my cap 1 ppi policy (in my opinion) but certain lenders seem to do what they like with the fos, something not right there, same with yours,it seems as if they've put an adjudicator on your case who quite frankly doesn't have a clue, outsourcing cases maybe,it certainly shows,Congrats on money today.

Yes I know what you mean, a friend of mine also over at MSE recently had a good case rejected, and as said a good case like yours.
I used to have faith in them, but to be honest since the JR I think they've got worse, and want to hurry the complaints without taking anything into consideration, so they can just bring their workload down.
So wrong, and for the wage they get paid as well!

                          Re: Hamilton

The fact on this now I believe has switched on a new light in regards of HFC, and not the involvement of Hamilton the insurer.

This is based on the application form via Click Brokers did not have any ppi added and it was obviously added later on in the loan process, but HFC/Endeavour.

I have said all along to the FOS about the HFC and I said all because Hamilton is the direction you want to take, I have never once had any contact with them, only in recent months for information.

My email from the Adudicator this afternoon.....

                            Dear Mr & Mrs

I can confirm that I received and reviewed your papers this afternoon. There is nothing further I require from you unless you feel the need to send more documents in.

I further note your desire for this case to referred to an ombudsman. Once I receive a response from HFC I will be writing to you.

                            Yours sincerely

I am hoping with the adjudicator saying he have reviewed our paperwork, this means its sufficient and enough to support our case.
                                Fingers crossed. x
