Hello all, I was just wondering if the sale of a debt to marlin has resulted in the sale of my phone number to a company specialising in 'reduce your debt by 70% 'answerphone messages, anyone else having the same kind of calls?

Marlin would be in breach of god knows, almost every licence they hold if they sold your numbers so no - it'll be a coincidence.

I hate Marlin more than I hate Celtic FC (a lot) but still, I can't see them doing that.

I wish they did cos then we would have more evidence against their abuse of process, but sadly it'd be almost impossible to prove plus I suspect they are a wee bit better than that.

Anyhoo..... just my opinion
