Minor update received another letter like the last one saying they are still working on it, 'we doing all we can' blah blah, presumably this is just them keeping their hand in so I don't think its gone away but in reality they haven't got a hope of retrieving the original agreement doc?

Am I right?

Thanks MrsD, reading it back I might have sounded presumptuous re the situ I just found it odd of them to send another letter basically saying nothing has changed from the last letter.

no not presumptuous I've got a lovely wee file full of these letters, they are just following the letter of the guidelines, while they are "investigating" they are supposed to keep in touch, most don't and it disappears into a "too difficult to deal with" pile under someone's desk, but some DCAs just send out these letters every month, I've got some going back over a year..............

I have received this morning a recorded delivery from the DCA containing a covering letter and a reconstituted credit agreement, looking on the template guide there is one where its says copy document received do I respond with this or do I do something else to see if it's enforceable or not?
There is also a discrepancy with the dates, there is a clear 2 month gap between the constituted agreement from Barclaycard and the cover letter from the DCA, don't know if that's important?

Just wondering what my next move is?

OK scanner and software is too old to work with my laptop unfortunately I don't have any other means to scan the paperwork, shall I refer to the templates to try and work it out?

Ah bollox. Friend/family/work have one you can use?
If not, what is the camera like on your phone? Could try placing on a flat surface in a nice natural daylight room and holding it close and steady handed as you can.
