Re: myself and barclaycard
I would start with the sold in dispute with a paragraph on the end asking them only to contact in writing.

Re: myself and barclaycard
I think people are scared because they see baliffs on tv who are agressive and forceful but they dont understand that they are high court baliffs which are a different kettle of fish, so they all get marked as being the same, great for them, not so for us who dont know the difference.

Re: myself and barclaycard
must have had dozens of threats for a doorstep visit, only a couple ever turned up.
Although both from different debts. They were polite, I wasn't...
within two minutes they were sent packing without too much bother.
also both found me to be very rude........(I look nothing like the avatar)
Just tell them to leave, they will go. Not scary at all.
I really can't understand why people are intimidated by these sort of threats.
I'll try and video the next visitor.

What Mercers have sent you is a standard template. You pay them, you have acknowledged that you owe them money. Pay them, you are stuffed!
Don't fall for it!
