I dont know if it helps, but I recall months ago reading about a case on MSE that got thrown out because the person filing for charges claiming did not use the correct address against Barclaycard, so they lost the case and subsequently any possibility of getting their money back (I think) - I dont remember the ins and outs - just that there was a thread based on this emphasizing the importance of using the correct address - whats good for the goose is good for the gander - dont see why it should be any different in reversed roles!
