Thanks Dopey, Yes he's OK. He's a bit of an activist so we were worried that he may go along to see what's happening. Luckily he has more sense.

One thing that worries me is these idiots will end up affecting peoples right to Legitimate, Peaceful Protest.

As to a lot of the Phycology pundits who have been on the box today saying these youngsters are Dissaffected and Disassociated from society.

They can't have worked with youngsters on some tough Northern estates, where it is easier and safer to run with the feral kids than to get off your backside and make something off yourself.

The Kid on the news who had his face covered by a Hoody and told the reporter he was rioting because of the Government "In It". If asked who Cameron was he would probably ask is he the Little Guy on the X Factor.

It's the Holidays, It's fine Weather and you get to have a good bit of excercise while getting a new TV.

Pure Copycat Criminality, Kids bred to have no meaningful ambition other than peer respect. Socially engineered by respective Governments who like to keep the populace at the level of Jeremy Kyle participants and Daily Sport Readers, where they are easy to control by offering Cake when what is needed is Bread.

Just spoken to my son, who works in Birmingham (thankfully, he does not live there!)

His office closed at 3 this afternoon because they anticipated further trouble. The Sony Centre round the corner from the office was looted and burnt out last night - apparently they nicked the stones from the decorative fountains in front of the office where my son works! He expects to be working from home tomorrow.

Just wondering when and how it will all end ....

A few miles down the road from me, the site of one council estate (noted for intermittent disorder) used to be a sewage farm.

Sometimes one suspects that it didn't change much.

4 plod patrol cars in sequence have entered and left council estate over the road. Each one had extra passengers in the back than when they went in.

Thing is they'll let the buggers go in a couple of hours time and they will be beating the phone box up at midnight. Its the only place I know where they come out the estate and use a phone box to make their mobile telephone calls. Some even come by car, then do a three point turn and return to the piggery, well it used to be before they built those houses.

Mrs Handy's on the phone now making sure that eldest son in Brighton is OK. Going to Hell in a Handcart is the thought that comes to mind.

The scum of Wolverhampton and West Bromwich are joining in now, according to the local news reports. Hubby said there is apparently problems down in Brighton too.

Young idiots are just using this as an excuse to cause utter mayhem and destruction. The penalties need to be severe for those involved.

Phil bear in mind 999 will not be as responsive etc weigh allt hat up. Hell jump on a train to scotland plenty of room here!

Secondly, i feel that the police are powerless in this country... we need more backup water cannons, gas etc for the police how can they fight a loosing battle....

Amazon reported a 5000% hike on bats being bought from the UK.... now im sure baseball didn't just become popular.
