Can someone tell me if I'm being fobbed off here please?
Had a problem with slow broadband tonight. I phoned Sky, managed to convinve Tier 1 I knew more than them and they managed to stop the internet working at all.
Tier 2 were very good and got everything up and running and it's reasonably fast. Good enough for me.
However, our telephone line should be capable of 8Mb/s. We are now getting around 3.5-4 Mb/s and I was told that the line will settle to its own speed.
Is this true or this complete and utter bull and they should be giving me 8 Mb/s?
