I used "Hijack This" to find the bugger and delete

I hate that program with a passion - but have been forced to use it myself couple of times.

Problem I have is knowing what is and what isnt supposed to be on there.

Guys,

Started PC this morning and about the only site I can get to is this one and the BBC everytime I use google search the browser gets redirected to somewhere else and some of these sites are not good as they are sexual orientated.

everything I try I hit a as what ever is infecting this machine is blocking those actions.

I do hope you also use Microsoft Malware and not one of those crappy third party ones, as they usually add loggers and other shyte

After you have run this tool please provide the report it gives you then we'll tell you how to fix it UNLESS it does remove all the shyte (as shown from the below example).

You really need to follow the guidance as per your OS - basically a forum is not the place for this help, Microsoft website is mate.

As I always say, reboot first - never touch your system settings as you KNOW they worked fine before the issue. Then do a system scan and finally run the Malware removal tool.

That fixes 75% of malware / spyware issues. The other 25%, well that's why we want the report at the end please

Sorry about those links, hands slapped lol, now the Malicious Software Removal Tool has downloaded but it will not install looks like I have a right bugger here if it blocks that too.

All those solutions are to fix I.E I am on firefox 8

its to fix the issue mate - I am on FF as well!

Open IE and the problem will still be there, if not then use IE and I'll get steve to log in later and remote to your PC and fix it
