    Anyone a NAS expert??

    Ok...had an old SATA drive lying around didnt want much in the way of speed etc so managed to grab a NAS dongle (same one here)

    i've set up..done suggested reg fixes & still cant access the bloody thing! windows 7 sees it in the network places but can I access? can I heck!!

    one thing though the IP address used to access the dongles web page is fine..just cant get anything else to work on it

    Not a clue I'm afraid.

    I always found accessing/sharing things over a home network with Windows to be extremely temperamental.

      I don't even know which language you are speaking, but I found this guide here which seems to be written in the same language, so might help?

        Diddly thank you i've printed the docs off for a read when the little man goes to bed later (hopefully!!)
