Mine is 7.0 (best) and 6 seconds is the fastest possible speed. Nothing ever proven to boot in less. Unless you're using a DFI lanparty o/c mobo which can pull a benchmark of 5-6 seconds dependant upon lots of variables.

I'm gonna ask for video footage next

Just search "AMD vs i7 Pro"



All the top computer geeks agree the new i7 is awesome. Just do a simple search.

Here is one of several benchmarks. AMD lags waaaaaay behind (overall)

But I don't game, however I am aware AMD can provide awesome on board graphics via APU-Line.

It's official I hate Niddy. I no longer have an excuse to go out and buy a new plaything as for 14.80 + the cost of a hair drier which, lets face it I will never use again I have a nice new screen on my Samsung tablet.

Did you do it mate? Was it as simple as connection just the cable

Yep all done. Getting the case off was a bit of a bugger and the screen was a pain as it was well glued in...hence the hair drier. I did take the battery out but all that needed was unclipping the cable.
Not quite "perfect" and the backlight keeps dipping but that might be just where I am sat but does what I need it to do

So thanks again, now what shall I do with the money I saved...pay a PDL?
