  • cheapest train fare please

    can anyone point me in the direction of a cheap one way train fare please ?
    if you do it today and you like it you can always do it again tomorrow

        You could try Trainline.com
        after you've checked them, see if the train company's own site has a cheaper ticket.
        If you have to catch 2 trains see if it's cheaper to get 2 seperate tickets.


        I do the seperate tickets with National Express coaches, (nearest train station to my friend is 5 miles away, coach stops 400 yards away)
        Example : My last trip down south
        A to C = £49
        A to B = £16 + B to C =£17. total = £35
        Saving £14
        Still the same journey, same waiting time, same everything
        (I did find a pub in london that serves a good pint )
        and I also got 5% cashback

          if you have tesco points they'll double them (sometimes treble) and give you the money off the ticket.
          for instance OH and I went down south before Christmas and the return tickets cost 17 in total - bargain!!!
